- Cookieverklaring (Cookie Policy)MINORTwitch's Cookie Notice was reissued in German with reorganized headings, but two substantive changes stand out: a new disclosure that cookies storing your privacy/ad preferences can stick around for up to 5 years (well beyond the usual 13-month cap on other persistent cookies), and the in-account cookie preference dashboard now being described specifically as an EEA/UK feature rather than for anyone shown a cookie banner. Detailed browser-specific management links (Chrome, Safari, IE, Edge, Firefox) were also dropped in favor of generic guidance. The underlying list of cookies, what they collect, and third-party sharing practices are unchanged.Read the analysis
- Privacyverklaring Twitch.tv (Privacy Notice)MATERIALTwitch republished this privacy notice in German instead of English. Alongside the translation, one substantive addition was made: Twitch now explicitly states it collects demographic and statistical data about you from third parties and outside sources, which wasn't spelled out before.Read the analysis
