Terms of Use
TradingView added a new monthly fee for popular invite-only scripts, expanded its rights to keep publishing your scripts (even to new users) after your account is gone, added missed-payment as a reason to suspend or terminate accounts, and formally folded its Script Publishing Rules and Vendor Requirements into the Terms of Use.
New $29.95/month/user fee for invite-only scripts, applied retroactively to existing vendors
If you publish invite-only scripts and have more than 100 people with active access, you now owe TradingView $29.95 per user every month. This applies even to scripts and vendor accounts that already existed before this change, and the fee is non-refundable.
“This Section 22A applies to all invite-only scripts and users, including existing scripts and existing vendors.”
What you can do — If you sell or share invite-only script access, check your active user count — if it's over 100, expect a monthly invoice starting now.
Unpaid script fees can now get your account suspended and content pulled
Missing a Technology Fee payment is now grounds for TradingView to suspend or terminate your account, block access to your scripts, remove your content, or strip your vendor status.
“any failure to pay a Technology Fee when due under Section 22A”
What you can do — Pay Technology Fee invoices within 14 days to avoid losing access to your published scripts or vendor status.
TradingView can now sub-license your scripts and keep showing them forever after you leave
The rights you give TradingView over scripts you publish now include the ability to sub-license them to others. That license explicitly survives your account being deleted, suspended, or terminated, and TradingView can keep hosting and showing the script to old and new users indefinitely.
“This licence survives termination, suspension or deletion of your account for any reason.”
What you can do — Don't publish scripts you might one day want fully taken down — TradingView can keep them visible to everyone, including new users, even after you close your account.
Your published content now explicitly stays up even if TradingView terminates you (not just if you leave voluntarily)
Previously the terms said your published content would remain on the site at TradingView's discretion. It's now spelled out that this applies whether you delete your own account or TradingView suspends or terminates it, and it covers a wider range of content (scripts, ideas, publications).
“will remain on the site at our discretion, whether your account is deleted at your request, or suspended or terminated by TradingView”
Script Publishing Rules and Vendor Requirements are now binding terms that can change anytime
The House Rules section now formally makes the separate Script Publishing Rules and Vendor Requirements part of your contract with TradingView, and says they can be updated from time to time without a separate amendment to the main Terms of Use.
“The House Rules include our Script Publishing Rules and Vendor Requirements, each as updated from time to time, and together they form part of these Terms of Use.”
What you can do — If you publish scripts or act as a vendor, periodically check the Script Publishing Rules and Vendor Requirements pages since changes there now count as changes to your contract with TradingView.

| 242 | 22A. Technology Fee for invite-only indicators | |
| 243 | ||
| 244 | If you publish one or more invite-only scripts on TradingView, TradingView shall charge you a technology fee (the "Technology Fee") of US$29.95 per calendar month per user whose access to any invite-only script published by you is active at the end of that calendar month. The Technology Fee applies only where the total number of users with active access to your invite-only scripts exceeds 100 at the end of the relevant calendar month. TradingView may change the Technology Fee at any time on written notice to you. | |
+ ADDEDNew monthly fee for popular invite-only scripts A brand-new section adds a US$29.95 per user, per month 'Technology Fee' for anyone who publishes invite-only scripts, once more than 100 users have active access. It's billed monthly, non-refundable, due within 14 days of invoice, and applies even to scripts and vendors that already existed before this change. | ||
| 245 | ||
| 246 | TradingView will determine the number of users with access to your invite-only scripts as at the last day of each calendar month, based on its own records of access grants and script usage. TradingView will issue an invoice for the preceding calendar month within 30 days of the end of that month to the email address associated with your account. Each invoice is payable within 14 days of the date of the invoice. TradingView may collect payment by issuing an invoice for direct payment or by charging any payment method held on your account. The Technology Fee is non-refundable. | |
| 247 | ||
| 248 | If the Technology Fee is not paid when due, TradingView may, at its sole discretion, on written notice and with immediate effect: (a) block new access grants to your invite-only scripts; (b) hide, restrict or revoke access to any of your scripts, including existing access; (c) remove any script, publication or profile content; (d) withdraw your vendor privileges; (e) suspend or terminate your account under Section 18; and/or (f) recover unpaid fees together with interest and costs.
