My Privacy Choices

The previous snapshot of this page was empty, so this diff is the first full capture of LiveRamp's "My Privacy Choices" portal rather than a rewrite of existing terms. The page explains how to opt out of LiveRamp's sale/sharing of your data, and how to request access, correction, or deletion. Anyone in the US can opt out, but access, correction, and deletion rights are limited to residents of 22 listed states. Nothing here takes away a right you previously had — but a few practical limits are worth knowing: you must prove your identity with a government ID and a selfie, opting out does not stop ads, deleting your data does not stop ads either, and cookie opt-outs disappear if you clear your browser.

To find out what LiveRamp holds on you, or to have it deleted, you have to hand over a photo ID, proof you live in a covered state, and a selfie taken on your phone, all processed by an outside verification company. That is a real hurdle for people without a driver's license or a smartphone, though a phone line and alternate documents are offered as backups.

“3. A mobile phone to upload a selfie and a copy of the ID card”

What you can do — If you cannot upload an ID or selfie, call (844) 678-0045 and pick the code for your request type, or email an alternate proof of address to consumercare@liveramp.com.

LiveRamp says it uses Social Security and driver's license numbers to match data to the right person. It says it does not draw conclusions about you from them, but the use is still there unless you ask it to stop.

“Note that LiveRamp uses certain "sensitive" personal data (i.e., social security number, driver's license number) for identity resolution purposes.”

What you can do — Submit an Opt Out request with your first name, last name, and email to limit use of sensitive data across all your identifiers.

LiveRamp passes personal information to other companies, and the only way to see who received it is to complete a full access request with ID verification. Opting out stops future sharing but does not undo what already went out.

“LiveRamp provides a list of third parties to which it has disclosed any consumer's personal data as part of an Access request.”

What you can do — Submit an Access Request to get the list of third parties, then opt out to limit future sharing.

Neither an opt-out nor a deletion turns off advertising. Opting out only means LiveRamp's services stop being used to target you, so ads become less relevant rather than disappearing. And after a deletion, LiveRamp's customers can keep advertising to you.

“Opting out of LiveRamp through our opt out channels does not disable advertisements altogether.”

What you can do — For broader coverage, also opt out at optout.aboutads.info and, on mobile, through the AppChoices app.

A browser opt-out is saved as a cookie, so clearing your cookies, changing browsers, or buying a new computer erases it without telling you. New email addresses and reset advertising IDs also need their own opt-out.

“If you create a new email address, reset the mobile advertising ID on your device, or use a new browser, you will need to apply the appropriate opt out to that new email address, new device ID, and/or new browser as opt outs are not necessarily transferred between email addresses, browsers, or devices.”

What you can do — Use the name-and-email opt-out rather than the cookie-only one so it applies across your identifiers, and turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

You can only ask what LiveRamp knows about you twice in a 12-month period, and the report only covers the last year. If you spot an error, you have about 30 days to ask for a fix before LiveRamp discards the report data.

“You may submit an Access Request two times in any one-year period.”

What you can do — Review your Access Report as soon as it arrives and file any Correction Request within 30 days.

1## Types of Requests
2
3This portal supports consumer requests related to personal information that we process as a business on our own behalf in accordance with the US State Privacy Laws.
+ ADDEDFull privacy-rights portal captured for the first time

The earlier version of this page had no text on record, so everything here is new to our records. It is a rights-request portal, not a contract, and it does not appear to remove any right consumers had before.

4
5US States that have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws currently include Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Residents of these states are given specific state-level privacy rights.
6
7See below for more information and instructions on exercising these rights.
8
9Opt Out Request
+ ADDEDOpt-out is open to everyone in the US

You can ask LiveRamp to stop processing, disclosing, selling, and sharing your data no matter which state you live in. Giving your first name, last name, and email makes the opt-out cover all of your identifiers.

+ ADDEDResponse deadlines and appeal rights spelled out

Opt-outs get an answer in 15 days; access, category, correction, and deletion in 45 days (extendable by another 45); appeals in 60 days. If an appeal is denied you get contact info for your state Attorney General.

10
11Opt Out requests (called "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" in California) are available to everyone in the US, regardless of state of residence. You may opt out of the processing, disclosure, sale, and sharing of your data, and the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information. Note that LiveRamp uses certain "sensitive" personal data (i.e., social security number, driver's license number) for identity resolution purposes. LiveRamp does not infer characteristics about consumers based on such sensitive personal data, but we still offer the ability to limit such uses through an opt out request.
+ ADDEDLiveRamp uses Social Security and driver's license numbers to match people

The page says LiveRamp handles sensitive identifiers to link records to a person, though it says it does not use them to guess things about you. You can ask it to limit this use.

12
13The Opt Out request may be made by the consumer, a parent/guardian, a conservator, or an authorized agent. While we do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18, we may have some data where we do not have sufficient information to identify age.
14
15First and Last Name, as well as email, is required in order to make a comprehensive and effective opt out for the user, which will result in an opt out across all identifiers associated with the user.
16
17If you do not feel comfortable sharing this information with us, we also offer the opportunity for a user to opt out of their Mobile Identifier or Third Party cookie only. Note that cookie opt outs will only apply to the user's web browser, while the Mobile Identifier opt out will only apply to the user's device.

29Access or Request to Know and List of Third Parties
30
31The right to request a copy of the personal information we have about you is limited to residents in US States with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws. LiveRamp provides a list of third parties to which it has disclosed any consumer's personal data as part of an Access request. For this type of request, LiveRamp will provide you with an Access Report which will contain the data we have about you, an explanation of the information we collect, use, or sell, the categories of data we have collected about you, such as the categories of personal information and data sources, the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed your information, and a list of 3rd parties with whom we have disclosed your information.
+ ADDEDAccess, correction, and deletion rights only for 22 states

Getting a copy of your data, fixing it, or deleting it is only available if you live in one of the listed states. Everyone else can only opt out.

32
33While we do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18, we may have some data where we do not have sufficient information to identify age.

46
47The right to request a copy of the categories of the personal information we collect about you is limited to residents in US States with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws. When you exercise this request, you will receive a report on the categories of data we have collected about you, such as the categories of personal information and data sources we have about you and the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed your information. \[Note: a Category Access Request is different from an Access Request, which returns specific pieces of personal information held.\]

61Correction Request
+ ADDEDCorrections must be filed within about 30 days of your access report

LiveRamp keeps the access-report data only briefly, so you need to spot errors and ask for a fix quickly. A "correction" means the wrong information is removed, not rewritten.

62
63The right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data is limited to residents in US States with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws.
64
65To submit a correction request, you first need to request an Access Report as described above. If you identify anything in the Access Report as inaccurate, you have the right to request that LiveRamp correct the inaccuracies. Upon receipt of a valid Correction Request, LiveRamp will remove the information identified as inaccurate from our systems. We will respond to your Correction Request within 45 days of receipt, and may contact you if we need more time to process your request. Instructions for submitting a correction request will be provided with the Access Report.
66
67While we do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18, we may have some data where we do not have sufficient information to identify age.

80States with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws.
81
82If you are planning to submit both a Deletion Request and an Access Request, we recommend that you submit the Access Request first, then submit a Deletion Request after reviewing your completed report from us. Otherwise, we will not have any personal information to return to you in an Access Request.
83
84Please note that if you choose to have us delete your information, you will still continue to receive ads online by LiveRamp customers that are advertising online. If your goal is to minimize personalized ads by LiveRamp customers who use our services and otherwise minimize their ability to transfer personal information about you, we recommend that you submit an Opt out Request instead of, or before submitting, a Deletion Request.
+ ADDEDDeleting your data does not stop ads — opting out is stronger

The page repeatedly steers people toward the opt-out instead of deletion if the goal is fewer targeted ads. It also warns to do access first, then deletion.

85
86While we do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18, we may have some data where we do not have sufficient information to identify age.

98Employee Request
99
100California offers data subject rights to former, current, and prospective employees to act on the data that is collected for these purposes. If you'd like to request that we delete, return, or correct the data that we may store about you as an employee or applicant, please click on the link below. Please note that the status of your relationship with LiveRamp, may limit our ability to comply with your request. For example, a current employee or former employee within the past 10 years, may not delete all employee personal information related to payroll that LiveRamp has collected on you because we're required to retain certain information for legal adherence. Since we do not sell or share employee or applicant data, we do not offer an opt-out.
+ ADDEDEmployee and business-contact requests are California-only, with no opt-out

Workers, applicants, and business contacts can ask for deletion or correction only if they are California residents, and much employment data cannot be deleted because of record-keeping laws.

110Right to Appeal
111
112Residents of states with enacted comprehensive privacy laws have the right to appeal LiveRamp's decision to not process your request. A denial to process will, generally, only occur when a submitter can not successfully complete our identification verification process. When you exercise your right to appeal, LiveRamp may request additional information from you or request that you provide alternative identification artifacts to us manually.

130What are the rights granted by the US data privacy regulations? What do they do?
131
132Residents of all states have the right to opt out of most processing of personal data by LiveRamp, including the sale (called "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" in California). In addition, residents in US states with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws (Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) have the right to request to receive a copy the personal information we have collected about you (Access Request), that we correct inaccuracies in your personal information (Correction Request), and that we delete your personal information (Deletion Request). Please note that our current application of opt out is holistic and fulfills all regulatory requirements, including the opt out of what is defined as sensitive personal data by some states.
133
134We will respond to your Opt Out Request within 15 days and your Access, Correction, and/or Deletion Request within 45 days of receipt, and we may contact you if we need more time to process your request.
135
136If you are planning to submit both a Deletion Request and an Access Request, we recommend that you submit the Access Request first, then submit a Deletion Request after reviewing your completed report from us. Otherwise, we will not have any personal information to return to you in an Access Request.
137
138Please note that if you choose to have us delete your information, you will still continue to receive ads online. If your goal is to minimize personalized ads by LiveRamp customers who use our services and otherwise minimize their ability to transfer personal information about you, we recommend that you submit an Opt out Request instead of, or before submitting, a Deletion Request.
139
140What is the difference between an Access Request and a Category Access Request?
141
142Residents of states with enacted comprehensive privacy laws have the right to request both the specific pieces of personal information held by LiveRamp (Access Request) and the categories of personal information held by LiveRamp (Category Access Request).
143
144However, to receive an Access Request, a consumer must pass three different levels of identity verification requirements, while a Category Access Request only requires a consumer to pass two different levels of identity verification.
145
146What do I need in order to make an Access Request?
147
148To make an Access Request as an individual, you will need to provide the following:
149
1501. Verifiable proof of your identity (such as a driver's license)
1512. Verifiable proof of residency in a regulated state
152 1. Note: If you're unable to provide a government-issued photo ID, you can prove your residency information by emailing one (1) of the following documents to us at consumercare@liveramp.com

154 2. A dated tenant agreement/house purchase deed;
155 3. Employer certificate for proof of residence;
156 4. ID card issued by an educational institution that lists the address; OR
157 5. Voter registration card
1583. A mobile phone to upload a selfie and a copy of the ID card
+ ADDEDYou must upload a photo ID and a selfie to make an access request

Because LiveRamp has no accounts or passwords for consumers, it uses an outside identity-check service. Access requests need three levels of verification; category requests need two.

1594. An active email address. (When submitting a request, please check your spam folder for correspondence from LiveRamp.)
160
161If you do not have one of the above requirements, you may also exercise your rights by calling our toll-free number.
162

223
224What do I need in order to make a Correction Request?
225
226To make a Correction Request as an individual, you will need to submit an Access Request first and be able to provide the following in the submission form:
227
2281. Reference Identifiers that LiveRamp has about you so that we can locate your file in order to correct it.
2292. The information you identified as inaccurate to be removed from our systems.
230
231What is required to submit an Access, Category, Correction, or a Deletion Request as an authorized agent?
232
233As an authorized agent, you will need to provide the following in order to submit an Access, Category, Correction or Deletion Request on behalf of a resident in a regulated state:
234
2351. Verifiable proof of your identity (such as a driver's license)
2362. Signed, written authorization from the consumer that you have their permission to act as an authorized agent, OR a valid power of attorney document signed and dated by the consumer (preferably notarized, but not required). Please include the consumer's first name, last name, and home address.
2373. The consumer's email address and phone number. We will contact the consumer directly for identity verification. Check your email spam folder for correspondence from LiveRamp.
238
239Note that if we do not receive verifiable proof of identification or authorization from both the authorized agent and the consumer, we may deny the request.
240
241If you are a commercial business acting as an authorized agent, the following documentation is required:
242
2431. A Certificate of Good Standing from the Secretary of State.
2442. Written authorization that includes:
245 1. The consumer's first name, last name, email address, and telephone number, along with which rights request(s) the consumer wants the authorized agent to submit on their behalf.
246 2. Signed, written authorization from the consumer that you have their permission to act as their authorized agent. This document should also include the name of the authorized agent (commercial business).
2473. The consumer's email address and phone number. We will contact the consumer directly for identity verification.
248
249Can a conservator submit a request on behalf of an Alabama resident?
250
251Yes. A conservator-a court-appointed individual or corporation legally authorized to manage a protected consumer's estate-may submit a privacy rights request, just like a parent or guardian.
252
253Do you have another method other than web submission for me to submit my request?
254
255We have a second method for you to exercise your privacy rights. Apart from submitting an online request, you may exercise your rights by calling us at our toll-free phone number:

276
277Once you have completed the steps above, a LiveRamp consumer care representative will contact you to complete your request.
278
279Can I make a Household Access, Category, Correction, Deletion, or Opt Out Request?
280
281We do not maintain aggregate household data that we can link back to a single household. If you would like to make a request for everyone in your household, please submit individual requests for each household member via this online portal or via our toll-free number above.
282
283What if I want to make a request on behalf of my minor child?
284
285While we do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18, we may have some data where we do not have sufficient information to identify age.
286
287As a parent of a child under the age of 18, you may make an Access, Category, Correction, Deletion, Appeal or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Request on behalf of your minor child. You will be required to provide the following information to us so we can verify your identity and your relationship to the child:
288
2891. Child's personal information (e.g. child's full name, child's email address).
2902. Proof of your custodial guardianship of the child.
2913. Parent's government-issued photo ID (driver's license is best).
2924. Parent's proof of regulated state residency.
2935. Parent's email address.
2946. Access to a mobile phone number to upload a selfie and copy of the ID card.
295
296Does LiveRamp store data on minors?
297
298We do not knowingly collect or use the data of minors under the age of 18. We may have some data about minors where we do not have sufficient information to identify their age. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of someone under 18, we will delete that information from our database. If you believe we may have the personal information of someone under 18, please contact us [here](https://submit-irm.trustarc.com/services/validation/5c2b0c65-cac5-4a10-96cd-aa3821a77b2b).
299
300How do I find out what data LiveRamp knows about me?
301
302In order to find out what information we have collected about you, you'll need to submit an Access Request through this portal. As part of the Access Request process, you'll be asked to verify your identity and provide proof of residency in a protected state.
303
304Once you have successfully submitted your Access Request, we will provide you with an Access Report that describes the personal information about you that we have collected, sold, or disclosed in the past year. You may submit an Access Request two times in any one-year period.
+ ADDEDAccess requests limited to twice a year, covering the past year

The report shows what was collected, sold, or disclosed about you in the prior 12 months, and you can only ask twice in any 12-month stretch.

305
306How can I get a list of third parties to whom my data has been disclosed?
307
308Residents in regulated states have the right to request a list of specific third parties, other than natural persons, to whom a business has disclosed their personal information or any consumer's personal data. LiveRamp provides a list of third parties to which it has disclosed any consumer's personal data as part of an Access request. To receive a copy of this list, you need to submit an Access Request.
309
310What will a Correction Request do?
311
312As a resident of a US state that has enacted a comprehensive privacy law you have the right to request to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
313
314For this type of request, you first need to request an Access Report. If you identify anything in the Access Report as inaccurate, you have the right to request that LiveRamp correct the inaccuracies. Instructions for submitting a correction request will be provided with the Access Report. Upon receipt of a valid Correction Request, LiveRamp will remove the information identified as inaccurate from our systems.
315
316We only hold the information from an Access Request for a short period of time, as necessary to complete the request. So we ask that you submit Correction Requests within 30 days of receiving your Access Request so that we still have the information from the Access Request available to take the requested corrective action.
317
318How do I delete the data that LiveRamp knows about me?
319
320In order to delete the information we have about you, you'll need to make a Deletion Request through this portal. As part of the deletion process, you'll be asked to provide proof of residency in a protected state and verify your identity through knowledge-based questions.
321
322What is the difference between a Deletion Request and an Opt out Request?
323
324An Opt out request, (called "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" in California) is more effective than a Deletion Request to minimize personalized advertising by clients using our services, to prevent clients from transferring your personal information, and to prevent LiveRamp from selling your personal information in the future.
325
326How long does LiveRamp have to respond to my Request?
327
328We will respond to your opt out request within 15 days of receiving your request.
329
330We will respond to your Access, Category, Correction or Deletion Request within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time to process your request, we will notify you within the first 45 days and will request an extension for up to an additional 45 days. If we find that we are unable to respond to your request, we will let you know why and provide your rights to appeal our decision.
331
332We will respond to an Appeal request within 60 days of receiving your request.
333
334I opted out. Why am I still seeing advertisements?
335
336Opting out of LiveRamp through our opt out channels does not disable advertisements altogether. Instead, opting out means that LiveRamp services will no longer be used to facilitate targeted advertising to your browser, device, or email address. In other words, you will still see advertisements, but they will be less relevant to you.
337
338We recommend that you also opt out using the [Digital Advertising Alliance's (DAA) opt out page](http://optout.aboutads.info/). This solution will give you broader reach in opting out of ads based on your interests.
339
340How do I stop receiving personalized advertising?
341
342If your goal is to minimize personalized ads by advertisers who use our services, we recommend that you submit an Opt out Request and we will place your identifiers on a filter to minimize our clients' ability to serve you personalized ads or otherwise transfer your personal information using LiveRamp's services.
343
344We recommend that you also opt out using the [Digital Advertising Alliance's (DAA) opt out page](http://optout.aboutads.info/). This solution will give you broader reach in opting out of ads based on your interests.
345
346What is an Employee Request?
347
348An employee request is a rights request specific to the information that we hold relating to your relationship to LiveRamp as an employee or applicant for employment or similar relationship (e.g., contractor) or to administer benefits relating to an employee. To continue to provide ongoing services related to employment and to comply with legal requirements to retain employee data, it is often not possible to delete personal information held for employees. Since LiveRamp does not sell or share employee data, an opt out is not available for employee data. Employee data requests are only available to California residents.
349
350Business Representative Request?
351
352A business representative request is a rights request specific to the information that we hold relating to your relationship to LiveRamp as an employee, contractor, or similar role with another company receiving products or services from LiveRamp. To continue to maintain ongoing services with our clients and/or vendors and to comply with legal requirements to retain business-related data, it is often not possible to delete personal information held for business representatives. Business Representative data requests are only available to California residents.
353
354Does LiveRamp conduct Profiling as it relates to US privacy regulation?
355
356Profiling, as considered by state privacy regulations, is significant when conducted in furtherance of decisions that produce legal effects concerning a consumer. This can include profiling that has a legal effect on the provision or denial of housing, education enrollment or opportunity, criminal justice, financial or lending services, employment opportunities, health care services, or access to essential goods or services.
357
358LiveRamp does not engage in Profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal effects concerning consumers.
359
360Why are you asking me for personal information and/or a selfie to verify my identity?
361
362LiveRamp does not have direct relationships with individual consumers. As such, we cannot maintain consumer password-protected accounts that can be readily used to verify your identification. We use third-party identity verification services in order to protect your personal information. The data requested to verify your identity does not create an account with LiveRamp or these third parties. The data is only used and stored as necessary to process your request.
363
364How can I appeal a decision to refuse my request?
365
366If you receive a notice of refusal to take action on a request, most likely due to a failed identity verification, a resident of a regulated state may appeal our decision. You may submit your appeal via the link on this page. LiveRamp will review your request and will likely reach out to you via email to request additional information about your submission. Within 45 days of receipt of the appeal, LiveRamp will inform you in writing of any final action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decisions. If the appeal is denied, LiveRamp will also provide you with contact information to file a complaint with the appropriate state Attorney General.
367
368When verifying my identity, what if I don't receive a text message to upload my ID & selfie?
369
370If you experience technical issues during submission or fail to receive a text message to upload your ID and/or selfie when verifying your identity, please contact us [here](https://submit-irm.trustarc.com/services/validation/5c2b0c65-cac5-4a10-96cd-aa3821a77b2b).
371
372What is a cookie?
373
374Cookies are small, unique text files that a website sends to your computer (or another internet-connected device) to identify the device visiting the site. The cookie is stored on your browser. Cookies contain information that allows us to improve site functionality and security.
375
376These cookies include information that allows LiveRamp to provide a more customized LiveRamp.com experience. They may be used to tailor ad content on our site, on sites you may visit in the future, and to understand aggregate-level information such as traffic patterns to LiveRamp's website or engagement metrics, such as open rates, with email marketing campaigns. If you choose to provide personally identifiable information in the course of your interaction with LiveRamp.com, or if you visit the website from a link in an email LiveRamp has sent you, your interactions with the website, including past interactions, may be connected to your email address or the information you provide. Other than these cases, cookies are not linked to personally identifiable information. In the course of placing cookies, LiveRamp may also collect data such as your browser type, your operating system, web pages visited, time of visits, content viewed, and other clickstream data.
377
378How do I opt out of LiveRamp outside of the US?
+ ADDEDTwo spots on the page are incomplete

The Deletion Request section starts with a fragment instead of a full sentence, and the heading about opting out from outside the US has no answer under it.

379
380How do cookie opt outs work?
381
382When you opt out of LiveRamp cookies, we place an opt out cookie on your web browser, on our advertising domain that indicates you have chosen to opt out. This cookie tells web sites using our solutions to not personalize the online ads you see. If you buy a new computer, upgrade or change your web browser, or delete this opt out cookie by clearing your browser files, you will need to perform this process again.
+ ADDEDCookie and device opt-outs are fragile

A browser opt-out is stored as a cookie, so clearing your browser, switching browsers, or getting a new device wipes it out and you have to opt out again. New email addresses need their own opt-out too.

383
384LiveRamp is a member of the [Digital Advertising Alliance](https://digitaladvertisingalliance.org/) (DAA) and [Digital Advertising Alliance Canada](https://youradchoices.ca/the-principles/) (DAAC) and adheres to the DAA Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising and Multi-Site Data, as well as related guidance. LiveRamp subscribes to the DAA's industry-wide cookie opt out mechanism that can be found [here](http://optout.aboutads.info/) and its mobile device ID opt out available through its [AppChoices app](https://youradchoices.com/appchoices). Consumers who choose to opt out through these DAA mechanisms do not need to opt out of the equivalent mechanism with LiveRamp.
385
386Keep in mind that opting out of LiveRamp through our opt out channels or through the DAA does not disable advertisements altogether. Instead, opting out means that LiveRamp services will no longer be used to facilitate targeted advertising to your browser, device, or email address. In other words, you will still see advertisements and receive email marketing, but they will be less relevant to you.
387
388If you create a new email address, reset the mobile advertising ID on your device, or use a new browser, you will need to apply the appropriate opt out to that new email address, new device ID, and/or new browser as opt outs are not necessarily transferred between email addresses, browsers, or devices.
389
390You may also want to change the cookie management settings on your web browser and you can opt out of interest based ads within your device itself
391
392What about Joint Household and IP Address Requests?
393
394Joint Household and IP Address Requests: LiveRamp does not maintain aggregate household data that we can link back to a single household. If you would like to make a request for everyone in your household or every device on a particular IP address, please submit an [Opt Out](https://optout.liveramp.com/opt_out) for every email address used by each household member.
395
396How do I opt out of other third-party ad networks?
397
398To opt out of third-party ad networks (including ones that we work with and may have transferred data to in the past), we also recommend visiting the opt out pages for the [DAA's AboutAds program](https://youradchoices.com/).
399
400What happens when I opt out of LiveRamp mobile services?
401
402When you opt your mobile device out of LiveRamp, LiveRamp will cease using your device in products and services, including advertiser-client workflows that result in sending personalized or interest-based ads tied to your mobile device identifier. This affects the advertisements you would see in native apps on your device.

420### Consumer-centric Privacy
421
422By design, much of the internet is ad-supported, so data provides a much-needed context for delivering a better, more relevant advertising experience to consumers. That said, a culture of accountability is essential to succeed in a data-driven world. LiveRamp believes that consumers should have transparency, visibility, and choice into how their data is being used.
423
424### LiveRamp and Data Privacy
425
