FC2 Terms of Use
FC2 added a brand-new section covering 'OTOcoupon' gift vouchers that can be exchanged for FC2 points. The new terms let unused voucher balances expire and be forfeited after 12 months, limit FC2's responsibility for lost, stolen, or misused vouchers, push refund requests for unused vouchers onto third-party resellers instead of FC2, and let FC2 change or discontinue the voucher program at any time.
Unused voucher money is forfeited after 12 months
If you buy a voucher and don't spend the whole balance within a year, FC2 removes whatever is left. That's essentially losing money you already paid.

What you can do — Use your full voucher balance within 12 months of purchase, or keep track of the expiry date so you don't lose unused funds.
No refunds from FC2 for unused vouchers — only through the reseller
If you want your money back for an unused voucher, FC2 won't help. You have to go back to whichever reseller sold it to you, and that reseller's refund policy might be limited or nonexistent.

What you can do — Check the refund policy of the specific reseller before buying a voucher from them, since FC2 will not issue refunds directly.
FC2 won't cover lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers
FC2 treats vouchers like cash and won't reimburse you if one is lost, stolen, or damaged — you simply lose the value on it.
“We will not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged Vouchers or for any remaining balance on the Vouchers.”
What you can do — Store voucher codes securely, the same way you would protect cash or a gift card PIN.
FC2 can change or end the voucher program without notice
FC2 can rewrite these voucher rules or cancel the whole OTOcoupon program at any time, and the terms don't promise you advance warning.

What you can do — Periodically check FC2's terms if you hold unused voucher balances, since the rules could change or the program could end.
