The IAB TCF vendor count dropped from 148 to 143. The entries removed in this update are Audiencerate LTD, Magnite CTV, Inc., SpringServe, LLC, Viomba Oy, Raptor Services a/s and "Contact Impact GmbH/Axel Springer Teaser Ad GmbH". One entry was added, named "Axel Springer Teaser Ad GmbH" and pointing at the contactimpact.de privacy policy — the same company under a shorter name. Raptor Services did not disappear; it moved to the Google partner list further down the page.

Adelaide Metrics dropped the "Legitim interesse" label. Its two remaining purposes — measuring ad and content performance — now run on consent, and it dropped both "develop and improve services" and the ability to match and combine data from other sources. This gives you more control.

Taboola Europe Limited moved "understand audiences through statistics or combined data" from legitimate interest to consent and dropped its legitimate-interest label entirely. Zeit Agency ApS moved "measure advertising performance" from legitimate interest to consent. Both changes mean you can now say no to those uses.

Ezoic and Relevant Digital Oy changed their tracking method from "cookies only" to "cookies and other". Two more entries made the same switch, but their company names are not shown in the changed sections, so they cannot be identified from this update. "Other" methods include things you cannot clear the way you clear cookies. One entry moved the other way, from "cookies and other" to "cookies only".

An entry that used to record a 1-year consent lifetime now records 10 years. The company name is not visible in the changed section — the entry sits just above Brand Metrics Sweden AB — so it cannot be named from this diff. Its data storage period stayed at 730 days, and the note that the cookie can be refreshed is unchanged, so this can stretch even further in practice.

Ezoic's data list grew from four categories to nine. New on the list are device identifiers, probabilistic identifiers (a guess at who you are based on your device's fingerprint), authentication-derived identifiers, rough location and precise location. Precise location is the big one — it can point to where you actually are, not just your city.

One entry added four data categories: device identifiers, authentication-derived identifiers, data you provide yourself, and user profiles. Another added the ability to match and combine data from other sources and to link your different devices together. Neither company name appears in the changed sections, so they cannot be identified from this update.

Aniview's storage period dropped from 4320 days (about 12 years) to 365 days, and Readpeak Oy's dropped from 4320 days to 390 days. Three more entries were cut — two from 4320 days to 365 days and one from 4320 days to 1095 days — but their company names are not visible in the changed sections. One entry went from 400 days to 365 days, and another's consent lifetime went from more than 10 years to 1 year. All of these are improvements for you.

Ezoic previously only measured ads and content and developed its services. It now also asks to use limited data to pick ads, build advertising profiles about you, and use those profiles to choose the ads you see — each tied to a 365-day storage period. Its overall storage period stayed at 4320 days (about 12 years) and its consent lifetime at 7 years.

This entry (identified only by its policy link, bannernow.com) added two consent-based purposes: storing or reading information on your device, and using profiles to pick personalized ads, with a 365-day storage period. It also added a 30-day consent lifetime that can be refreshed.

OpenX used to ask for your consent to use limited data to pick ads. It now does that under "legitimate interest", which means it happens unless you actively object. The entry also gained the "Legitim interesse" label at the top.

This vendor previously only asked to store or read information on your device and listed only IP addresses. It now also picks ads, measures ad performance and develops its services under "legitimate interest", collects device characteristics, lists a 60-day storage period, and tracks with more than cookies.

The link for Duration Media, LLC. changed from durationmedia.net to curationmedia.net — a different website name, not just a different page. Until that is corrected or confirmed, you cannot be sure whose privacy policy you are reading when you click it.

Google's own advertising entry added the ability to identify devices from information they send automatically, and added "probabilistic identifiers" to the data it handles. That means recognising your device without needing a cookie.

Havas Media (Artemis Alliance S.L.U.) no longer lists a working privacy-policy link. The only link left in its entry is a placeholder that reads "N/A", so there is no way to check what this vendor does with your data.

Adnuntius AS gained a privacy-policy link it was missing. Alkimi's link moved to a new path on the same site. "Outbrain UK." was renamed "Outbrain UK Limited". Several entries added the standard "store and communicate privacy choices" purpose and the matching "Privacy choices" data category, which is how your opt-outs get remembered.

Triton Digital's recorded consent lifetime fell from 20 years to about 2 years. It also added a consent-based purpose to store or read information on your device, which it did not list before.

The Google partner count went from 43 to 46. Four companies were added — Ensighten, Fractional Media, Optomaton and Raptor Services — and one, Aarki, was removed. All of the added ones may store or read information on your device and use limited data to pick ads.
