This isn't just basic analytics data — it includes your location, search history, and browsing history, which can be used to build a detailed profile of you for targeted advertising across different apps and sites.

What you can do — Check the Cookpad app's privacy or ad-settings menu for an opt-out toggle, and review/limit ad personalization in your Google Account settings if you don't want this data used for cross-service advertising.
New sensitive data types now being collected for sharing with Google
Along with the sharing itself, this change reveals that Cookpad is now collecting (in order to send to Google) your precise location and your search history — data types that weren't listed as being sent to any third party before this update.
